The program and associated files reside on 2 diskettes: Disk #1 is unnumbered, the other is labeled Disk 2.
Note: If you have previously installed any version of DeBabelizer, we suggest you make a copy of the System:Preferences:DeBabelizer Prefs file, before installing the new version.
From your desktop, insert the unnumbered disk, Disk 1, and double-click the DeBabelizer Installer icon.
Indicate the target drive and/or folder for installation; Disk 1 will be installed.
You will be asked to insert Disk 2.
When finished, you will be returned to the desktop.
You will need to register when you launch DeBabelizer 1.6 for the first time (Name, Company, Serial Number).

The DeBabelizer 1.6 folder contains:
• DeBabelizer® 1.6 - the application.
• Custom Code folder contains all of DeBabelizer's file translators and many menu items. If you have purchased any optional formats, copy them into this folder.
Note: Modules created prior to 1.6 will not work on a Power Mac.
• Filters to Interpolate folder contains a few sample interpolatable filter plug-ins.
Copy these to your Photoshop Plug-ins folder.
• Strip PPC and Strip 68K
DeBabelizer 1.6 is a Fat Binary, containing code for both the Power Mac and 680x0 Macs. If you are short on disk space and will be using DeBabelizer on only one of these types of machines, you may chose to strip off (eliminate) the code for the type of machine you do not have. These two programs may be used for removing either the 680x0 code or the Power Mac code from any Fat Binary application, and are being supplied for your convenience.
For 680x0 Macs: (System 7) Drag and Drop DeBabelizer 1.6 on Strip PPC or (System 6) open Strip PPC to remove the PowerPC software.
For Power Macs: Drag and Drop DeBabelizer 1.6 on Strip 68K to remove the 680x0 software.
